We cover AI tools, and we use them. This page explains where AI helps us and where it does not.
Where we use AI
- Building the site. We built this site’s custom theme, plugin and calculators with AI coding assistance in Cursor, and we describe that experience in our AI coding articles.
- Drafting and editing. AI may help outline an article, suggest clearer wording or check that a draft answers the reader’s question.
- Running our own tests. AI may help write the scripts we use for benchmarks. The numbers we publish come from running those scripts, not from AI.
What we never leave to AI
- Prices and plan limits. Every price is checked against the vendor’s official page and dated.
- Test results. Benchmarks and measurements come from our own logs.
- Verdicts. Recommendations are decided by our editorial team using our method.
- Claims of testing. We never say we tested something we did not.
Accountability
An editor reviews every article before it is published and when it is updated. If something is wrong, it is our responsibility, not the tool’s. Please tell us and we will fix it.
